Information for Employers

Launched in November 2014, this voluntary program is open to employers in La Plata County and currently includes over 100 employers! 

This program: 

  • rewards employers who pay or aspire to pay a living wage,
  • provides employers with tools and incentives to increase workers’ wages to a living wage, 
  • connects consumers to employers who provide or aspire to provide a living wage, and
  • promotes a just and sustainable economy.

Current TERP Living Wage Rate: $13.31 Per Hour

Application Fee: All employers must pay an application fee, whether applying for initial certification or recertification.  This fee was implemented in spring of 2017 to help maintain the staff and infrastructure needed to support TERP.
